Vaping

The Smokefree Environments and Regulated Products Act 1990 prohibits vaping in schools, kura, early learning services and kōhanga reo.

You must take all reasonably practicable steps to ensure that no person vapes in any part of your school, whether inside or outside, at any time of day.

You must display "No vaping" signs by 11 May 2021. These signs can be combined with "No smoking" or on separate signage. Signs will be available for order through the Smokefree website in 2021.
