Information for experienced principals
Kia ora and welcome to the experienced principals landing page. The resources, news, and discussions in this section focus on supporting you in your educational leadership and management work.
As an experienced principal you can use this section of Educational Leaders to access online resources and information, explore the issues that other principals face, and interact with those who have similar questions, interests, and experiences.
Educational Leaders is one of the support tools that will deliver information about resources and learning opportunities offered by the Professional Leadership Plan 2009 – 2010. As part of this plan 300 experienced tūmuaki and principals from secondary, primary and area schools will be able to participate in an 18-month trial programme that focuses on change leadership which results in improved student outcomes. This trial will inform ongoing support for experienced principals.
