Te Ahu o te reo Māori 2021

School leaders, teachers and support staff can register now to grow their confidence to use te reo Māori and integrate it into the learning of all ākonga and students.

The programme takes 12-14 weeks and is followed by 8 weeks of support.

It is offered in various ways, for example, through weekly classes, online lessons, and wānanga or noho marae.

It is offered in:

  • Tai Tokerau, Auckland, Waikato
  • Bay of Plenty, Waiariki
  • Taranaki, Manawatū, Whanganui
  • Hawke’s Bay, Tairāwhiti
  • Wellington
  • Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast
  • Canterbury, Chatham Islands
  • Otago, Southland.
