Principal profile: Principal Vee Singh
I am married to Anita who is a medical doctor, and we have two sons (9 years and 17 months). Like most other households, our home is busy, to say the least. I enjoy spending quality time with my family. In my leisure time, I gain much satisfaction from reading, dabbling in ICT, and following most sports (motor sport in particular).
I was born and educated in South Africa. I received all my schooling and tertiary education in segregated schools and universities, and even went on to teach for approximately 12 years at segregated schools – that was the way it was!
I learnt from my late father, who was a dedicated teacher and principal, that teaching was a noble profession, and that teachers and students must always be encouraged and supported in an environment where the highest expectations are set and essential skills are valued.
