Educational Leaders launched

Educational Leaders, a new website for New Zealand's school leaders, was launched by the Minister of Education at the First-time Principals' residential in Auckland on 15 April. Educational Leaders builds on the best of the previous school leadership site, LeadSpace, and will also target middle and senior leaders as well as tūmuaki.
It will serve as a first point of call for support material to help educational leaders link more effectively with professional learning information, support people and networks, and online collaboration tools.
Problem solving and leading change are key leadership activities, and Educational Leaders aims to provide materials and tools that will support these activities. Building collections of stories and problem-solving scenarios that give users insights into how other leaders deal with day-to-day issues will be a major part of the site as it develops.
Capitalising on and sharing the experience of current practitioners will be a key aspect of the website.
Navigating the site will be straight forward, as will searching for information through a more powerful search engine.
