Check out the new He Kākano website
13 December 2010
School leaders who are taking part in the He Kākano project might like to take a look at the web site designed to support the project.

Within the site:
- About provides history and development of He Kākano and who is involved in the programme.
- Schools lists who the Manutaki are for the different schools and regions.
- Resources provides relevant publications, reports, research papers, readings (e.g. Book Chapters and Journal Articles) and presentations that have been generated for the schools involved in the programme. Many of these resources come from the wānanga – many are available to the general school public. This section will grow over time.
- Videos provides interviews or presentations with key people supporting the programme. You can use these for staff presentations.
- E-Community allows you to engage with other groups through ‘My E-Portfolio’. You will need a password for this. The other groups might include other schools in your region, other schools of a similar type and size, or different kinds of groups within your own school, including teachers and the students. This section is still under development and we will have it operating by Term 1 of 2011.
