No more nagging doubts
No More Nagging Doubts (2010) outlines for principals, other school leaders and trustees the key policies, procedures and systems required for compliance in all areas of school operations as defined by the National Administration Guidelines (NAGs).
The resource also offers suggestions about the organisation and simplification of NAG-related documentation. Adding value to the section on NAG compliance is a ‘Documentation Review Checklist’ for NAGs 1-6 which enables principals and trustees to plan and prioritise before developing their self-review cycle.
In addition, it clarifies the wording and intent of the National Education Goals (NEGs), and provides an overview of The New Zealand Curriculum (NZC) and its relevance in guiding decisions about school-based curriculum.
The contents of No More Nagging Doubts are not definitive and should be seen as a “guide to compliance” only. It is intended as a practical guide for schools and information included is believed to be correct and is based on the collective experience and expertise of the resource developers, Team Solutions Leadership and Management facilitators.
